Our Law Firm has the power to post attorney bonds in Dallas County. These bonds can be posted to lift warrants or to facilitate the release of a person from jail. Our firm bonds all felony and misdemeanor cases.

So what exactly is an attorney bond? In general an attorney bond is an agreement between the defendant and the attorney posting a bond, in this case Ridgely & Associates, wherein the attorney agrees to post the necessary bonds in order for the defendant to be released from jail or have warrants lifted.

Q Is a DWI offense a felony or misdemeanor offense?
A In Texas, a DWI charge is a misdemeanor crime if you have no prior DWI related offenses unless you had a child 14 years of age or younger in the car with you.  DWI with a child passenger is a felony crime.  A third or greater DWI offense is also a felony charge under Texas law.
 
Q Will a Texas DWI go on "my record?"
A Yes.  A DWI conviction will go on your Texas driving record.  If you are found not guilty of the DWI offense or the charge was dismissed, you may be able to apply to expunge the arrest record.
